The cardioprotective effect of Shengmai Zhenwu decoction on patients with chronic heart failure based on the levels of soluble interleukin 1 receptor-like 1

ObjectiveThe purpose of this study was to evaluate the protective effect Shengmai Zhenwu decoction on patients with chronic heart failure (CHF) based levels soluble interleukin 1 receptor-like (ST2).MethodsWe included a total 80 outpatients and inpatients CHF who were undergoing treatment at Shanghai Municipal Hospital Traditional Chinese Medicine between March 2020 2022. We randomly divided them into observation group (n = 40) control 40). Patients in received treatments as per conventional Western medicine, while those treated conjunction medicine for eight consecutive weeks. then compared pre- post-treatment ST2 N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide (NT-probNP) two groups.ResultsThere no significant differences pre-treatment NT-probNP indexes groups (P > 0.05), comparison terms suggested that better, statistical significance < 0.05).ConclusionShengmai beneficial CHF, suggesting it could be promising effective method CHF.
